The point person is not necessarily the decision maker, but serves as part of the team.  She will be notified first, and will assemble the appropriate team to discuss the circumstances.  Depending on the nature of the incident, the team will make appropriate decisions or recommend a decision to the appropriate Senior Staff member.  If the situation warrants, other individuals who are not listed as primary team members might be called upon for their expertise.  The point person would also be responsible for informing the President and other Senior Staff of the incident and keeping them updated during the crisis.
