Horse trailers must be registered with the Department of Safety within one week of arrival.  Free permits will be available at the Department of Safety, between 7:00am and 3:00pm Monday through Friday, or register online, and you will receive your permit through campus mail.  The following information is required for registration; name of student, state of registration (e.g. VA), trailer license number, and model.  Trailer permits will be displayed on the front of the trailer next to the hitch.  Horse trailers must be parked at the Riding Center off of Nelson Trail.  Please contact the Riding Center for further instructions on parking of horse trailers. 434-381-6116
